This piece represents the three UK lockdowns as concentric circles, with the idea of ‘the light at the end of the tunnel’ used to create the feeling of light radiating out from a central point, the sun radiating light, a hopeful future. The repetition of machine stitching, tucking and hand embellishment all used to achieve this. Also known as ‘going round in circles’ finishing this piece as we enter the fourth wave.
